We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting opportunities to expand and improve the quality of life for Texas music fans and their families. This includes music education, community outreach and the creation of new music venues and events.
The annual SchertzFest at the end of September offers a variety of music, food, entertainment and fun for children and adults. Organised by Scherztz Fire & Rescue, this event provides children with a safe and enjoyable environment as an alternative to traditional trick or treat. ScherZtz EMS Week takes place every year and ranges from a golf tournament to an EMS extravaganza in the Forum Shopping Center.
In fine weather, we invite you to practice your instrument there in the shade of the trees or in the shops. We meet at Rolling Oaks Christian Church in 7150 and are seen every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church, or, weather permitting, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
We are located in Schertz, which is bordered by El Paso, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and San Marcos. Schools serving this section of the school include the University of Texas at Austin and Texas A & M University, Texas Tech University School of Music, Texas Ridge High School and the Austin Community College District.
In addition to Schertz, the Randolph Metrocom community includes San Antonio, El Paso, Fort Worth, San Marcos and Selma, Texas. The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A & M University and Austin Community College District serve the area.
Located in Comal, Bexar and Guadalupe counties, the city has the potential to grow rapidly when combined with other cities in the area such as San Antonio, El Paso and San Marcos. Cibolo Creek, which forms the border between the counties of Guadarranos and BEXar, crosses the city south of the historic downtown. Rockcrusher, located north of Schertz on the west side of Interstate 35, about half a mile from downtown.
A large and very active shooting club on the grounds, which is now a city park, south of Schertz-Oberschule. Enjoy a fun night out in the park on Fridays with music, food, games and fun with friends and family. In May, Homes for Pets hosts its annual event, Homes for the Pets, a free event for pets and their families.
Salute the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces of the United States and salute the U.S. Army, Air Force, Marine and Marine Corps. The Sweetheart Pageant hosts its annual event to select the city's ambassadors for the parades and festivals in the area.
Wilenchik's Walk for Life is an annual community fundraiser for the Texas Department of Public Health and Human Services and Texas Children's Hospital. More than 1,000 people from the area, as well as local businesses and organisations, will attend.
